General Questions

JULIE, Inc. (Joint Utility Locating Information for Excavators), also known as the “Illinois One-Call System,” is a not-for-profit organization that provides professional excavators and homeowners a free service to contact to request the locating and marking of underground utility facilities. JULIE's online damage prevention educational modules are free and available to all professionals in the damage prevention industry.  The courses provide an overview of best practices and processes to prevent damage to underground utility facilities and provide basic knowledge to maintain a safe working environment. 

The courses are currently approved for IEPA water and wastewater training credit hours. Additional professional development hours for other industries may also accept your certificate of completion.  For questions about IEPA codes for the courses, please email info@illinois1call.com.

New courses are developed on an annually based on industry needs and trends. Check back on our site regularly or watch for emails about new courses.
